Nick's put a blog on his myspace site:

Rehearsals being next week for Carmen and I'm getting in shape for it.

Had some time off - much deserved if I say so myself ...

Hope to see some of you as I perform around the UK .

Thanks for coming along to Tosca to all of you. I thoroughly enjoyed the all the performances and appreciated the support I got from everyone.

Since I don't have a Myspace account, I don't visit there as often.

It would be nice if Nick would make a quick visit on this site as well. After all, this is the " Nick Garrett's Official Fan Forum." Just a thought...

Nick did say at the weekend that he would TRY and be better at keeping in touch and letting us know what's going on (even if it just meant that Kate & I wouldn't want to kill him when we saw him! - don't know where he got that idea from!!)
He has pages on myspace, facebook and Classicalx and at one time did have a mention on other artist's website in their music recommendations topic. It's a shame that things have gone rather quiet but hopefully we can all do our part and give him a mention whenever we can. If a piece of news gets posted on another site, let's make sure that it spreads to the sites that do mention him and give our suppport to those sites. I don't tend to visit myspace much these days although he did have a high number of friends on there. His Facebook section doesn't do that well, so maybe we could recruit more friends to that page. Classicalx seems to fluctuate, the other week he was in the top 10 of most visited artists and now his section is quiet again. Let's try and get the name of Nick Garrett back out there and show him that we do still follow him as closely as we did in the past...maybe this will make others curious about him too.
If you go to see him in an opera or concert, make sure you post about it. If you can't go for geographical or other reasons, read and comment on the reviews that others have written.

Here's a chance for you all to have your say about Nick.

Someone called Isobel has posted a question on Classicalx, asking what it is like to meet Nick. It doesn't say why she wants to know, but it gives us all an opportunity to reply.

Quite a few of us have met Nick and so can draw from personal experiences, others perhaps have spoken to him on the phone or hope to meet him one day and can share what it is we like about him.
