It's just a little over 2 weeks until Tosca starts - I'm really looking forward to seeing Nick in an opera again. I'm also excited to be meeting up with Connie and Astrid who are both coming over from the USA! We'll be going to see Nick on 3rd July and Kate is also going that day too so we'll all be together. I'm really looking forward to the new Chronicles of Narnia film - Prince Caspian.I loved reading the books as a child and I've seen some great preview clips of the film and interviews with various cast members.I'm looking forward to seeing how close they stay to the book and whether or not it will be as good as the first film.I've heard that this one is a lot darker then the original...but it will have its humourous moments with Reepicheek the fearless mouse - he's a great character. I thought with Nick really working his tush off this year we could use a review thread. Here we can place all the good things we find and read about what Nick does. He was great in Tosca and got raving reviews (not to mention the thunderous applause). He took part in recording Poetry Serenade and that is fantastic as well. I received my copy yesterday and while I thought I knew what to expect I am (again) pleasantly surprised at Nicks abilities to make music so very much his own. ...
